I remember posting an article about a study done on which people abuse their authority the most … those with authority but have low status, like some people you might encounter at the DMV.

It’s a powerful feeling and mind opening experience knowing that I could use Hive and MapReduce to create scalable systems and query terabytes of data. I can join SQL scripts (to re-use scripts) for different tables so that each SQL script becomes a sub-system job that is distributed on potentially hundreds of computers.
