I think this is the future of transportation, no really! The top speeds of electric mini-cars may be around 25 mph, which is perfect for moving around in a neighborhood or within the city. These are not good for traveling long distances at faster speeds, but mass transit trains and buses are. So imagine a mass transit service dedicated to carrying around these mini-vehicles with an additional charge. Either you drive onto the bus/train, or a robotic arm lifts your car and puts it in place (in order to save space on the bus/train).

You won’t be bothered by crazy people on the bus. You can take a short nap knowing that you are safe inside your locked car. You can recharge your vehicle while commuting. While traveling the city streets and neighborhood on your way to work, you won’t get wet. There will be many more parking spaces available, and probably at a discount (for paid parking). It will cost much less to buy, maintain, and refuel.
