I like this idea. I think of it as an education investment. It can be extended further to the public to invest in disadvantaged children. Those children can receive help in K-12 and college to pay for tutoring. There can be a rating system to analyze the children’s future salary and ability to pay later in life. That rating system could encourage parents to pay attention to factors that they would not have done so in the past, such as better nutrition, better environment, and more parental support.

Oregon will study plan to let students forgo tuition upfront in exchange for a proportion of their wages upon graduation. Critics say it is a bad idea that will never get off the ground.
