Street harassment affects guys too. Less than a year ago in Seattle, I read about a woman being harassed and a guy asked them to be respectful. Then they beat him up.
Unless you look very intimidating, you probably know what it’s like when you’re walking down the street with your girlfriend and disrespectful guys make comments or stare hard.
