Maybe it was the Star Wars hype (still haven’t seen the new movie yet) and reading about Hawaiian history – I was inspired to write plots for a trilogy of Sci-Fi/political books. It involves aliens contacting Earth and economically exploiting Earth by being craftier capitalists. There are interesting political twists and novel ideas explored. One backstory idea is about how AI was convinced/hacked to help with a slave rebellion and that eventually leads to a semi-galactic federation.
I realize some weaknesses that I have though. For one, I’m already heavily involved with other projects. Another is that I’m a terrible story teller, but I can learn! These ideas that I have so far don’t involve any personal stories that allow the reader to feel a part of the story.
