“Owned by Clear Channel Communications, which has since changed its name to iHeartRadio, Premiere’s Limbaugh deal instantly dwarfed any payout in AM/FM history.” “Concurrently, iHeartRadio’s parent company, iHeartMedia, is heading to court, teetering on bankruptcy. The once-dominant radio behemoth is saddled with $20 billion in debt, thanks to a misguided leveraged takeover engineered by Bain Capital in 2008” Without knowing that, I didn’t even like the iHeartRadio’s programs, shows, and awards.

I take an hour long lunch break to take a short nap and eat lunch. I could go with co-workers, but I feel so much more refreshed this way. It may seem kind of creepy just behind the building though. http://bartable.bart.gov/files/images/events/Screen-Shot-2016-03-11-at-8.59.03-PM.png

Being an older guy who likes a variety of music, I get tired of hearing music that’s all about falling into and out of love. I’m not in that demographic anymore where that instability is appealing. I still don’t like country music, because of personal negative associations I have with it. For some reason, good rock-n-roll has fallen out of favor in the music industry – maybe it’s a generational thing. Folk and punk rock music has never appealed to me.
Here’s what’s going to sound really lame: I would like inspirational music for its positivity and focus on living if it didn’t include the heavy focus on religion and religious overtones. There are very positive messages and some of the music is catchy, but I cringe when it tries to proselytize me.
