Miami is already encountering flooded streets more often due to rising sea levels, but it is taking steps to beat back rising waters. The Florida governor isn’t helping because he doesn’t believe climate change is happening. It’s mentioned that it might have to accept the water and become like Venice.
The city could be underwater within the centurybut it has a plan.

This is great. I get the sense by the traffic jams on 405 in Renton how terrible the politicians care about the traffic situation there, or maybe it has something to do with conservatives (in south King County) not pushing for better mass transit.
