There might be an alternative. Instead of relying upon the few stem cells we have left, use stem cells from a younger person – someone else.

This raises interesting philosophical questions. If you’ve been revived with vitality with younger stem cells from someone else, are you still you, an altered you, or becoming someone else? Does it matter if our DNA comes from someone else, as long as our minds are still the same? Does the fact that our minds change with time, and sometimes our personality, change who we are and is that more important than if our DNA changes?

While taking a birthing and newborn class, I realized that climate change and women in labor share something in common. There’s a steady increase in intensity and an increase in frequency. There are reliefs and pauses, but it comes back stronger and more often.

Let’s see how the NRA reacts to this. Maybe like they did when Ronald Reagan was governor of California?

Before I was put under, I asked the anesthetist, I’d like to ask you a few questions about consciousness, but then it was lights out.

US economic news is better. I thought there would be a recession, or a mild reset, but it looks like we’re weathering the global economic problems just fine. The Seattle area housing prices will continue to get more and more expensive like San Fransisco.

There seems to be so much hate directed to Hillary Clinton. Republicans won’t ever let go of any indiscretion so they can play up attacks against her and create mistrust, even among Democrats, hoping they won’t show up to vote for her.

I think she’s not so much principled as she is pragmatic. She’s a moderate and incredibly smart person. Being very intelligent, she sees arguments from both sides and weighs them, very much like a judge. She would have been a great judge, I think.

Sometimes, being pragmatic and picking the safe options leaves her vulnerable to attack from bolder opposing forces. They’ll attack her because they think she’s too vulnerable, but as we’ve seen before, she’s very strong politically and knows how to win.

Not being bold and principled makes many people wonder where she stands on issues. Maybe that’s the political divisiveness in us that’s speaking. We want candidates that strongly hold our views. “If you try to be everything to everyone, you’ll be nothing to no one.” Yeah, I know that personally. People want to put you in a tribe so they can generalize you and put you in a category. When they can’t, they get frustrated with you.

I met Hillary Clinton at a campaign rally in 2008 in Seattle, WA. Barack Obama eventually won the nomination, but I supported her then, and I support her now, though my first pick this year was Bernie Sanders. My first pick usually doesn’t get the nomination … weird. But at least I’m not butt hurt about it.

I’m with her.
