I agree with the sentiment in this article, but I don’t agree with the solutions in this article. I don’t think increased housing density is going to solve these problems. Human migration happens faster than cities can build up or recover from boom and bust cycles.
Instead, states should do more to lessen the concentration. If that means suburban sprawl, then let it happen.
