This is how McDonald’s expects its employees to budget their income. Get a second job, and starve (food not listed) or steal food from McDonald’s.
Actually, businesses like McDonald’s and Walmart encourage their workers to go on welfare to support their income. This is how taxpayers indirectly subsidize large corporations by allowing them to pay poverty wages.
Republicans love to say this is just a starter job for teens, but what should people do if they don’t have enough skills for a better job, tuition + child care is too expensive, and there aren’t enough better jobs in town?
