So I educated myself on what Antifa is. It’s really just an elastic label created by alt-right to describe nebulous groups of leftists who militantly oppose fascism, racism, xenophobia, etc. They’ll stretch the label antifa to include anyone that opposes their bigotry, militant or not. So I deleted my comment: “Antifa is short for anti-fascist. So if you are against antifas, then by logic, you are pro-fascist.”
Conservatives are all over this bogeyman as if it were an organized group of people. It’s just a way to distract people from the growing white supremacist movements fueled by Donald Trump.
I still think it’s ok to punch a Nazi.
