Why are there so many truck commercials on television! It feels like they’re preying upon male insecurities and telling men “this is how you can reclaim your manhood!”

If I were in charge of who gets into heaven and who doesn’t, I’d choose incredibly smart and fun people (no matter if they believe in a god or not) to make passing time through an eternity more bearable. I would choose people who behave morally because they want to create a world that’s better for everyone, instead of choosing sycophants who wish to get a reward in the afterlife.
It’s easy to tell who is really moral from those who just adhere to religious interpretations for the sake of a reward. The people who are moral are those who care about the well being of others and treat the environment as if this world were actually a heaven to be maintained instead of polluted for the sake of greed.
How could most people who go to heaven really enjoy being in heaven knowing that many other loved family and friends aren’t there? They have to continuously worship a deity that supposedly committed genocide in a great flood instead of simply instructing people the right way to live. That seems like another version of hell, no matter how beautiful the place is supposed to be. The Bible says that they’re blissful. I’m thinking they’re eternally high on drugs or lobotomized so they can’t remember or don’t think about the people left behind. Either way, it’s a dystopia.
If I were the devil, I’d make hell a better place to spend eternity, even if only to spite the one who sent me there. After enough time spent on misery and torture, I’d realize there’s more fun to be had and happiness to be created and shared by all by treating others better.
If I were an only god, I don’t think I’d be so insecure or vain that I’d be concerned whether or not lesser beings on a small planet worshiped me or not. There’s a vast universe with billions of planets and many more life forms out there to hold my interest.
If I were an insecure narcissist who demands loyalty and punishes disloyalty like Trump, and if I had unlimited power to make such demands, I would make it crystal clear what I wanted and expected. I wouldn’t leave it up to people wondering which old story to believe. My messages would be inscribed in the passing clouds and carved into every mountain side for all to see. I would strike down any storyteller with a thunderbolt who told a different religious story. Only then would I be able to judge fairly who should be allowed into heaven and who should not.
If I wanted to save and reward the people who most worshiped me, I surely wouldn’t send category F-5 tornadoes through their trailer parks every year.
If I were a noble and loving god, I surely wouldn’t allow the torturous pain of bone cancer and other illnesses upon babies and children.

Lately, we’ve been reading about the closing of many retail stores, and a big portion of the blame goes to Amazon, but not all.
