Not trying to get too much into politics, but I wanted to have this show this red vs blue map to give an indicator of what the decrim movement is up against. Blue areas are more liberal and are more likely to support decrim. Red areas are more conservative and will resist decrim. Why does this matter? When discussing statewide measures, we need to get out of our liberal bubble and think about what it takes to convince conservatives that decrim is a good idea. Yes, I know that not everyone here is a liberal. What I meant is that in the areas where we live, we have become accustomed to liberal thought and it’s easier to get decrim passed in these liberal bubble areas (blue).
