I wondered how agent based modeling (for complex systems) could be combined with machine learning. If it can be trained properly, it can make predictions based on simulations. Where we see chaos and noise, it may see patterns that we can’t detect. Training on simulations can allow AI to fill in for missing data, assuming the simulation correctly models the real world enough for the task.
