Seems kind of weird to be posting an article on theoretical science right now, but this is interesting to me. There will be pseudoscientists and mystics jumping all over this theory. I agree and disagree with the claim in this article that time doesn’t exist but is created by the observer.
I think that there are different “levels of reality”. Our reality is totally different from the quantum level of reality. A higher level of reality is “emergent” from a lower level of reality. It’s mostly unknown right now what is the transition point between those levels of reality, but if physicists can figure that out, I think there will be a new revolution in physics.
My point relating to this article is that time doesn’t exist in the quantum reality, but exists because it is an emergent property in our reality.
