Woah, how did this show up in my Youtube feed, days after I posted an idea on Facebook about the nature of time? Besides that worrying thought, as it turns out “time is emergent” is not a new idea. This happens to me sometimes and it’s a little frustrating: I think of something profound, and it turns out other people have already thought about it.

What does it mean for space and time to be the same thing? Not related to each other, but literally two descriptions of precisely the same entity: “spacetime”?
