Looking for advice!!!
Looking for general guidance on strategy and making decisions. I posted how I made a big (time costly) mistake in deciding to use React.js to create a Samsung smart tv app, but it failed to build because it would only allow an old version of jQuery. I have now chosen to use Android after comparing the market share of smart tvs. And I have decided to use Android (Java) as opposed to Flutter (Dart or Kotlin-Android) because I have past experience with Android (Java).
I would like to get some general guidance from my friends here that would let me know where I made a mistake in the past and could I possibly be making a mistake now. I’m not looking for anything technical or specific. I want to learn more about strategy on making difficult decisions. I have not trained to become a project or product manager, so I guess that may be something I’m missing. Could you also recommend a book or training that will help me in the future.
