Something has been bothering me a little about progressive and socialist politics. There’s something disingenuous when it comes to budget comparisons whether it’s CEO earnings to company worker salary, or the DOD budget to provide monetary assistance to help individuals. Try dividing a CEO’s earnings by the number of company workers. Divide the Defence Department budget by the number of people in poverty.
Look at the memes posted when you see these comparisons or when Bernie Sanders makes those comparisons, then do the proper division. When you do that you MAY see that when it’s spread out to so many individuals, in some cases it’s not much.
