Internet Scam Alert I posted some things on Facebook Marketplace to get rid of old furniture that I don’t need in my new place. Soon after I get a message asking me if it’s still available. This person asks me for my phone number and if I can verify a code to make sure I’m a real person. Sure, ok. But It comes from Google Voice, and it says in the text message “Don’t share it with anyone else.” This person could be trying to steal my account, so I reported and blocked the person.
