The Tea Party is back, though not by name. It’s funded by many of the same groups to spread lies in order to mobilize conservative voters in the next election.
Remember the angry, disruptive activists and shouting matches that happened at the community level when the Affordable Care Act was being debated? It was passed, but at a great political cost at the local level and Republicans swept Congress in the mid-terms. Remember “death panels” and Glen Beck?
