If you have a 401k and you haven’t adjusted it now already, you should. Some funds that had greater returns last year could be sinking this year. Compare last 1 year with last 3 months.

I posted an idea about controlling telomerase to account for cancer and extend lifespans. There are more things to consider though.
Telomeres could control our growth and development hormones as we grow up. So if an adult had the full telomeres as a baby, then that might reset their body clock to that of a baby. The person would have the full body mass of an adult and then begin growing and changing rapidly. It would be horrible.
Maybe telomerase could be controlled to stop when telomeres reach that lengths expected of an adult, but how would it detect the stopping point?
Some cells divide more slowly than other cells, so not all cells have the same telomere lengths.
Also, telomerase is still active in certain cells, so that has to be accounted for as well.
