This is very sad, and it’s happening more and more often. Our first-world convenience comes at a much greater cost to others. When our garbage gets shipped to China or other countries, they dump the garbage in the oceans. Out of site, out of mind, until dead animals wash up ashore.

It’s that time of year! Why am I the only white guy around here who goes to see the fall colors? I’ve seen Indian and Asian guys taking pictures with their families. Oh well. Some people are missing out. I’m glad there aren’t that many people. I wouldn’t want the views to become too crowded like when the Cherry Blossoms bloom in the spring at the UW.
