If anyone is angry about the Washington State legislature considering a weapons ban on capitol property, here’s your reminder that the NRA lobbied then California Governor Ronald Reagan to do the same after Black Panthers marched with weapons in Sacramento.
Also, here’s another reminder that was before gun manufacturers took over the NRA leadership in a big convention fight. The NRA stopped being about responsible gun ownership and became a political marketing tool for gun sales.
