I’m glad that Trump is forming his own social media network. It will give the FBI a place to focus their investigations to find the remaining rioters who broke into the Capitol Building. It will also divide the user’s social media time so they’ll spend less time on Twitter and Facebook. 🤞
They’ll be preaching to the choir, but unfortunately, that choir echo chamber would serve to radicalize them farther and farther to the extreme. It was inevitable though. They rejected a multicultural society, tried to stifle it, lost, and now they want a place they can cry together and plot their revenge.
On a side note, have you taken a road trip recently along a highway and scanned for radio stations? If you travel far enough from the cities, you’ll only get a few stations that play country, classic rock, gospel, and right-wing talk shows. Their media influence is very different from our media influence, and so is their connection with the world. It’s disturbing that right-wing radio is influencing them on a daily basis and it’s no wonder to me that people in the rural areas drift farther and farther to the right.
