Why is your stimmy taking so long? The IRS is understaffed and uses old computers. That’s on purpose. Why?
Republicans in Congress continually cut funding for the IRS so the IRS would have a difficult time catching tax cheats, especially the wealthy ones that donate to Republicans. See the corrupt money cycle?
They also made the IRS prioritize making settlements with lawyers with the excuse that “it’s easier to settle than it is to get all that is owed.” B.S. You know those radio commercials you hear on the radio about tax lawyers reaching an IRS settlement. The IRS has become so abused it’s a niche industry for lawyers to bail out tax cheats.
Guess who has more of chance of being audited, you or a rich person? You!!!
Why don’t we have enough money for schools and social programs to help the poor and mentally ill? Tax cuts, offshore bank accounts, and blatant tax evasion.
