After researching the internet, I found that the toxic perchlorates won’t be that big a deal – just another problem to solve. Astronauts will mine the surface for water, heat it, wash off the perchlorates with water when returning back into the station, bacteria will eat the perchlorates, and the water will then be recycled. http://www.space.com/21554-mars-toxic-perchlorate-chemicals.html
The toxic chemical perchlorate may be good news for the possibility of life on Mars, but it will pose a danger to exploring astronaut crews.

Maybe it’s a good thing that Congress hasn’t passed an infrastructure maintenance bill yet. It gives Solar Roadways more time to do research and provide a working concept.
Another thing – we should be thinking about building an infrastructure with less roads and more electric trains.
New roadway technologies from interactive lighting and pavement markings to anti-icing and energy-gathering surfaces have been in the works for years. So why dont we have them yet?

For a long while, I thought of moving back to the beautiful autumns, warm weather, and beautiful beaches on the east coast. Then I read about this horrifying development. “In March … published a paper … suggesting that the gigantic ocean current is weakening.” And now, “a patch of the Atlantic Ocean, south of Greenland and Iceland, has experienced unusually cold temperatures for the last eight months. Several prominent climate scientists say it’s the result of Greenland’s melting glaciers, which dump fresh water in the ocean. And it’s ruining the Atlantic’s circulation.”
That means that an ICE AGE is coming!
Gradually, but faster than they thought.

2016 will be a landslide victory for the Democrats, whether it’s Clinton or Sanders. Why? Even though Republicans have plenty of candidates to choose from, they’re all wacky and not that likable. Even though John Boehner has been the Republican scape goat for so long, the Tea Party is going to be extremely disappointed after he leaves his position as House Speaker. Many of them will sit out next year’s election out of spite.
2018 could see a reversal as the Tea Party unites against “socialism” and new lies, just like 2010. If the Democrats are able to hold their ground (unlikely), it will be the Tea Party’s last stand since they’ll prove that they’re no longer effective. Since the 2010 election may swing back to the right, Democrats need to push as many bills through Congress as possible till the next Congress.
Even though the election looks bleak for Republicans, the worsening global economy could push the US into a deep recession. Whoever spins that situation the best and gets media traction on it will probably win.

The CDC reported that 82 children were shot and killed in 2010, 86 in 2011, and 81 in 2012. Adjusting the age range up to five in CDC records returned a slightly higher number of children’s deaths by firearm: 98 in 2010, 105 in 2011, 91 in 2012, and 98 in 2013.
